What's this blog going to be about?
Just noticed your comment. Many thanks, as I remain fixed a bit longer in pre-publication issue debates. I am presently in retirement, and I am generally uninterested in emotionalized polemics (hard-hitting - yes; excessively emotionalized - no). Plus I'm not certain I have the necessary skill to weather all the potential illogical attacks that may come my way, in the event anyone actually notices my 5 cents worth of Fogerty-like philosophizing:

Don't get me wrong, I easily have the thick rattlesnake skin for it, but perhaps I don't need any more scars, especially since many are already out there waging the good fight - by which I mean logically defendable fight - as a number of thinkers are doing on both sides of the atheist-theist debate, including yourself.
Now as to the topic of Ideas Are Physical, I need to leave myself room to develop that idea as I go, because it is not as simple as electing to come down on one side or the other of the mind-brain or mind-body duality issue. But then nothing about the science-faith debate, nor the mind-body debate, seems as simple to me as it does to many others.
In fact, I'll wager that the issues have not yet been satisfactorily resolved by any non-supernatural being. And, no, that is not code implying that I think that logic dictates that any supernatural being does exist or doesn't exist ... as opposed to saying it just is the way it is ... But, having said that, yes, I think there is a proper (rational, I suppose) sense in which to say that ideas are physical, that hopefully leads somehow from knowledge to wisdom. Thanks for commenting. I enjoy your blog posts. I hope you will enjoy mine.
BTW, part of my pre-publication issues have to do with manipulating color schemes and other blogger tools, not just philosophic issues. I am presently functioning with just a couple of smart devices and without a consistent computer based Internet connection. And I play poker, so fun gets in the way. As I have most recently said on several blogs, add probability and a bunch of thermodynamics to the science-faith debate, and to the mind-body debate. Please.
